Our summer camp is designed for lots of new experiences and fun, but we also want to provide hands on learning! Our camp offers the perfect solution for your child to have an awesome summer for parents with busy work schedules. We have so many fun daily activities planned for the children to be able to have fun while they are learning. Our activities include: spirit days, pizza parties, special events, STEM, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, cooking projects, etc! We cultivate hands on activities to keep the children engaged and happy! We also offer field trip experiences for the children to get to explore new places and activities like bowling, gaming, the Pirate Ship boat ride and so much more. We also have fun days planned out each week where there is either a theme or a special guest that comes to give the children a show or a cool new experience like having water day, reptile shows, and field day. Tuition:
Weekly summer tuition is based on the program which your child is enrolled. The deposits that have been paid are applied to the total cost of weekly tuition. Tuition will be processed on Fridays for the following week.

Superior Schools Summer Camp is full of exciting events and experiences for school age students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our summer camps are a great opportunity for your child to stay busy and have fun during the summer months when they are not attending school. We have been providing summer camp for several years and even provided camp through the pandemic. Having your child enrolled in a summer camp program is very beneficial for their social and emotional needs, it is a great opportunity for them to build strong connections with their peers and give them plenty of opportunities to step away from technology to have hands on experiences that they will remember for years to come. Our summer camps are available at select Plato Academy locations throughout the county. Our camps are staffed with our experiences qualified extended care staff from the various locations.
There are different themes for each week of our summer camps that our activities are centered around. Some examples of these themes are young chefs’ week, Art week, Mad Science week, Lego week, 4th of July Fun and Adventure week. Each week has at least one in house special event where organizations come to the school to have the students participate in unique experiences such as a video game truck, reptile show, water balloon dunk tank, teddy bear making and Practically Picasso. Each week is complete with Movie Day Friday where the students enjoy a movie on our blow-up big screen and fresh popped popcorn from our popcorn machine. We even ended the summer with an in-house carnival where students earned tickets and got to receive prizes.
In addition to activities on campus we also take students on adventures off campus. Some examples of locations that we have visited in the past were Captain Nemo’s Pirate ship, Tarpon Springs Aquarium, SkyZone, Congo River Mini Golf, and Bowling. These are great ways to have the students adventure off campus and make memories with their friends. Our field trips are also a great opportunity for students to explore local places around our amazing Tampa bay area. The students even enjoyed the bus ride to and from the locations.
