My name is Tammy Abel and I have been married for 25 years and have two sons, age 17 and 19. I was born and raised in Vermont, but have now lived in Florida over 25 years. I love living in Florida and enjoy going to the beach, snorkeling, hiking, biking, and crafting.
I have worn many hats in my career over the years which I feel has prepared me for this new role. From retail district manager to executive assistant, photographer to insurance agent, and preschool teacher to college advisor. By far my favorite place to be is in the classroom and working with children. My grandmother was an elementary teacher, and my grandfather worked at the high school, so I grew up helping to correct homework and going into their classrooms to help with different projects. I am extremely excited for this new opportunity to help grow the extended care program and be a part of its continued success, and I look forward to meeting and working with all of you.

· I love animals · I have been to Hawaii twice
