Play is so important in your child’s developments because it is one of the best ways they learn! Learning through play is one of the best ways for your child to learn creativity, language and social development as well as cognitive development. Children learn best in an enriching environment that allows them to explore, discover and be creative! Fun activities more often than not end up being the best form of education for your little ones!

We like to focus on a “Creative Curriculum” which allows the students to explore, get creative and be themselves, while we steer them in the right direction through our curriculum.  We promote discovery and inquiry with opportunities for children to think critically and develop process skills with rich, hands-on investigations of relevant and interesting topics in the classroom.

This year we got the opportunity to introduce a new curriculum component called Al’s Pals. Also developed by Teaching Strategies, this is a new curriculum geared toward preschool aged children to help promote their social and emotional development. The kits include puppets, lesson guides, emotion cards, picture cards, and age-appropriate books. The aim of this curriculum is to build emotional skills such as self-regulation and problem-solving through positive interaction, music, and stories.
